Both services are advertising strategies, but to have a better idea of which one to choose, we must start by explaining what they mean or how they work:
SEO positioning or Search Engine Optimization: it refers to the results that a search engine naturally throws today called organic, on our page without having to have paid that search engine to appear. This type of strategy does not give immediate results, but it does give more effective results since clicks on these positions are more popular among users than clicks on those marked as ADS.
Pay per click or PPC Positioning: These are the advertisements or advertising banners for which we pay the search engines or portals that offer those ads every time someone clicks and the link takes them to our web page.
This type of service gives us immediate results, but are not so attractive to the user and generates a cost that in most cases is higher than the cost of SEO, plus this service is terminated at the time we stop paying for it.
When it comes to new businesses or those that have a very poor positioning the best strategy is to mix both types of service since we will achieve immediate results and gradually we will be able to maintain them with SEO positioning.
